FAQ
Questions before the first photo pops?
Here are the basics on gameplay, photos, parties, platform availability, privacy, and getting help.
What is PicPop?+
PicPop is a mobile photo guessing game for friends. Players add photos from their camera rolls, a random photo appears, and everyone guesses which player it belongs to.
How does the game work?+
One player creates a room and invites friends with a code or link. Each player chooses photos for the round. During the game, PicPop shows a photo and everyone taps the friend they think owns it.
Do players have to upload photos?+
Players need to add photos for the game to be fun, but the idea is to choose photos intentionally. Only add photos you are comfortable sharing with the people in that room.
Is PicPop good for parties?+
Yes. PicPop is designed for parties, sleepovers, dorm rooms, group trips, and casual hangouts where everyone is in the same playful mood.
Is PicPop available on iOS and Android?+
PicPop has an App Store listing for iPhone. The Google Play button is prepared as a placeholder link for now and can be replaced when the Android listing is live.
Can I control which photos appear?+
PicPop is built around players choosing the photos they allow into a game. Do not add sensitive, private, or embarrassing photos unless everyone involved would be comfortable with them being shown.
Does PicPop store my whole camera roll?+
PicPop should only need photos that players choose for gameplay. Your device controls photo permissions, and you can update those permissions in iOS or Android settings.
How do I contact support?+
